CIT Appoints Bryan Allen Global Head of Human Resources

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT)cit.com, a leading provider of financing to small businesses and middle market companies, today announced the appointment of Bryan Allen as Executive Vice President, Global Head of Human Resources effective July 9, 2012. He will report directly toAndrew T. Brandman, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer.

Mr. Allen will be responsible for overseeing the human resources function, including the development and implementation of the Company’s global employee programs, policies and benefits initiatives.

Prior to CIT, Mr. Allen served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Hanover Insurance Group. Before Hanover, he was Managing Director, Head of Human Resources at U.S. Trust. Prior to joining U.S. Trust, Mr. Allen held a number of business management positions at Morgan Stanley, most recently serving as Global Chief of Staff for Human Resources.
