The awards include a Gold Award for Ethics in Sales, Silver Award for Customer Service Success, Financial Services and a Bronze Award for Innovation in Customer Service, Financial Services.

For all three awards, OneWest was recognized for developing innovative customer engagement strategies that help customers meet their financial goals and also support the Southern California community where the bank is based.
Examples of these efforts include the One Million Meals campaign, a partnership with Feeding America to donate meals to people in need for every new checking account opened during the holiday season, and Turn Paper into Trees, a spring campaign which planted a new tree in California for every customer who signed up for paperless services. In the fall, OneWest also launched Personal Finance Empowered, a digital financial education platform offering free, customized modules for consumers at all life stages.
The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world's top honors for customer service, contact center, business development, and sales professionals. This year, more than 2,600 nominations from 48 nations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated. Winners were determined by the average scores of more than 180 professionals worldwide on seven specialized judging committees.
